Beni Lar’s Political Pillars Crumbles, PDP Stalwart

By Our Correspondent.

A stalwart of the Peaoples Democratic party (PDP),  and the Former Supervisory Councilor of Education Langtang North LGC (2003/2004) and Former Assistant State Organizing Secretary,  PDP PIateau state, Hon. Ishaya  Nankap, has revealed that the political dynasty  being built by the member representing Langtang North and South in the National Assembly, Hon Beni Lar is gradually collapsing as it is a shadow of its former self.

Hon. Nankap who disclosed this in a telephone conversation with our correspondent refers to the results of the just concluded bye election in the southern senatorial district of Plateau State, as evident.

He  stressed that the PDP’s lead in past elections were narrowed to just above 4,000. ” The fact is, the PDP has lost many of its sympathy as a result of the last party congresses in which Hon. Beni and Joshua Ubandoma decided to impose their will on the people, a strange practice in Tarok land which was never practiced by the person they claim to be protecting his dynasty, Chief S.D Lar.
The other factor is; the votes could not match up as a result of their policy of segregation.

They never contacted the General’s home based supporters to worktogether, thus the low turnout coupled with propaganda by aggrieved
workers on the election. In any case, they are at liberty to practice their funeral songs as it is
obvious that they won’t make it under the party if perchance they emerge as candidates in the next elections.
“The Tarok people are never taken for a ride which is a known fact. “The shame of losing support has made them resort to peddling lies to soil their already battered images which is selfinflicted.

“I am not surprised at the under hand tactics of misinforming the publicabout what actually transpired. It will not save the so called dynasty from collapsing as it is a shadow of its former self. Most of the pillars are broken and cannot stand for the next few years.

“I had worked closely with the Late Chief SD Lar and at a point on salarybefore we parted ways when I joined the Alliance for Democracy (AD). We still worked together to build the dynasty from that period till lately when the heir apparent decided to be an autocrat and a dictator at the expense of the interest of the generality of the people. So I can beat my chest to say that I was part of the pillars of the dynasty. It was their anti-people policies that separated us. I had represented the party as a national delegate in the local government for a record four times sequentially.

“The fact is, they already know what is eating them up and only time
shall tell when their reign will be history as they have deviated from the people oriented goals set by the Late Chief S.D Lar. It is not fair to
conclude that the last election was a power establishment contest
between the Member House of Representive. Langtang North and South and the Leader of the party in the State, Sen. (Gen) J.T Useni. They are just exposing their naivety.
“The true test will come when they are contestants in the next elections. “just as nothing succeeds like success, nothing will fail like failure” time is the answer. We shall give them their correct marks when they eventually contest the next series of elections.

“That’s the true test of popularity. 2023 is the date of reckoning”.
