NCA Graduates New Sets, DG, Gov. Lalong Charge Graduands To Be Good Ambassadors.

The Nigerian College of Acciunyancy, Kwall, Plateau state at the weekend convocates the sets  25 and 26, bringing a total of over fifty thousand graduates of accounting professionals since inception.According to professor Mohammed Akara Mainoma,  who is the president and chairman of council of Association of Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, and chairman board of governors , Nigerian College of Accountancy, NCA, Kwall, the institution  which had commenced academic and professional activities in 1984/85 session with only ten students gradually recorded population growth from  54 students in 1994)95 session to over 4000 students in 2019/2020 session, and has mad in the history of over 50,000 graduates that have passed out of the institution since inception.Speaking during the 9th convocation ceremony, the Director GeneralCollege of Accountancy,  Kwall,Dr. Kayode Olusola Fasua commended the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong for his kindness and fatherly love to the College and to the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

The DG also urged the graduands to be good ambassadors of the College as they continue to distinguished themselves in Their various areas of engagement.According to him, “Let me, on behalf of the College Board of Governors, Management Team and indeed the College Community congratulate all graduands, most of whom are already inducted members of our great Association.“The event of today marks another milestone in your academic and professional pursuit. We are indeed proud of you all, but I dare to say that to whom much is given, much is equally expected.

“We urge you to continue to be good ambassadors of the College as you continually distinguish yourselves in your various areas of engagement.“You are very dear to us and of course very special to the Association”, the DG stated.
He seized the opportunity to encouraged all to constantly developed their capacity in every area of their lives stressing that ANAN has provided a lot of capacity building platform for all to take advantage. He equally called on graduands to give back to the College in every area that is possible.
The DG also appreciated the President and Chairman of Council, Prof. Muhammad Akaro Mainoma for the leadership and support he gave to the College to its current height.
Responding on behalf of the graduands, the President, NICASS Course 25, Sunday Angai also appreciated management and staff of the College for their understanding and for their spirit of tolerance throughout their period in the College. He called on his colleagues not to disappoint the College by making the most of the knowledge they have acquired wherever they find themselves. The President further advised that the Vision and Mission of the College should be the creed of their profession.

High point of the event was the conferment of Fellowship Awards on some notable Nigerians including Prof. Babagana Zulum, Executive Governor, Borno State, Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Executive Governor, Enugu State amongst others.
