Secretary to the government of the federation.( SGF) Mr. Boss Gida Mustapha has said that Nasarawa state deserves a special status from the federal government due to the fact that most of the federal workers are currently living in the state and work at the federal ministries and parastatals. Mustapha who made the disclosure Tuesday during a town hall meeting on the importance of Covid19 vaccines also disputed the insinuation going around that the drugs causes infertility and other sickness. While calling for support and cooperation of state governments to enable the programme succeed. Also speaking, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has called on the federal government to as a matter of urgency assist the state in it quest of eradicating Corona virus through assisting in promoting testing centres in the state. Governor Sule used the opportunity to commend president Muhammadu Buhari for his frantic efforts in fighting Corona virus in the country. The Governor therefore assured the federal government for his readiness to the fight against Covid19 in the state. Good will messages were received from the state government from the zones as well as development partners. While people were seen receiving Covid19 vaccines during the occasion.. The North Central zone was the first for the town hall meeting.
