Governor Sule condemns last weekend killings in Doma local government Area

By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has condemned in strong term the brutal killings of innocent people during an attack on Ajimaka village of Doma local government Area of Nasarawa state. The Governor who described the act perpetrated by unknown persons as ” reprehensible, callous and inexcusable. ” He said an attack that does not spare women and children bears the trademark of devilish elements who are bent on truancating the relative peace in the state. According to a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Malam Ibrahim Inuwa Adara said the governor has assured that security operatives have since commenced investigation that will expose the criminals with a view to punishing them, according to the law of the Land.” My condolences and prayers are with the families of those whose lives were lost, I urge them and the rest of our citezens to be rest assured that this Administration will do all within its power to ensure Justice,peace, and security across the state,” The Governor also called for calm and support to law enforcement agents in the collective fight against evil. It would be recalled that last weekend, unknown gunmen at the weekend attacked Ajimaka village in Doma local government Area where nine persons were killed, while several others sustained various degree of injuries during the attack.
