Governor Sule,Al Makura others congratulate Muslims on Eid el Fitr.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has enjoined Muslims Ummah in the state to use the lessons learned during the month of Ramadan in their day to day activities in order to live peaceful with other people in the society.

The Governor who disclosed this in a Sallah message to the people of the state also urged the entire people of the state to be their brother’s keepers in the best interest of peace and harmony.

According to a statement signed by the Acting Governor,Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.also called for sober reflection amongst Muslims and non- Muslims alike for peace, progress and the overall development of the state.

” I call on Muslims and non- Muslims alike to live peacefully with one another in the best interest of peace, Harmony and the overall interest of the state and the country at Large.

” It would be recalled that Governor Abdullahi Sule is in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia performing this year’s lesser hajj.( Umrah) hence the state deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe is now the Acting Governor.

In the same vein, former Governor of Nasarawa state, Umaru Tanko Al Makura has urged Muslims Ummah and people of other religions to live peaceful with one another for the best interest of the state and the country. Al Makura who made the call in a Sallah message to the people of the state also commended them for the peaceful coexistence exists in the state.

Al Makura who is the immediate past Governor of the state and Senator representing Nasarawa south in the state at the red Chambers pledged to use his wealth of experience as former Governor to bring development to the state.

While calling for support and cooperation of the people of the state, the former Governor appealed for support to the security agents as well as the state government under Engineer Abdullahi Sule to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.

In a related development, the people of Daddere chiefdom have been urged to engage themselves in meaningful ventures that would help them feed their families, society and the country at Large. Sangarin Daddere, Alhaji Balarabe Sa’eed Muhammad Alhassan 1V who made the call while addressing his people as part of activities marking Sallah celebration in his palace in Daddere also urged them to be security concious by reporting any suspecious movement to the security agents. The royal father who commended his people for peaceful coexistence with other tribes in the area also urged them to maintain the tempo. He also called for support and cooperation to the local, state and the federal government so that together they could move the state and the country forward.
