A Nasarawa West senatorial Aspirant, Barrister Labaran Magaji has called for a synergy between security agents and various communities in the state in order to end frequent attacks especially on border towns in the state. Barrister Magaji who made the call while addressing journalists during the recent visit of Governor Abdullahi Sule to Toto local government as part of activities marking two years in office of the Governor also appealed to the people of various communities in the state to report any suspecious movement to the law enforcement agencies for appropriate action
The lawyer who is a chief prosecutor in the office of the federal Attorney General and Minister of Justice expressed confidence that Governor Abdullahi Shuaibu would deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state,as can be seen in his two years in office. He said what Governor Abdullahi Sule did in the past two years is a clear manifestation that his next two years and another four years of his re- election would really make Nasarawa state better than he met it. The senatorial Aspirant used the opportunity to call on the people of the state to rally round the Governor to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead. On the signing of Memoranda of understanding between Nasarawa state government and Flour Mills Nigeria (FMN) limited, barrister Magaji said the project which is going to be sited in Toto local government, when completed would tackle the problems of insecurity, unemployment and also improve the economic activities of the area and appealed to the people of the area especially the youth to take advantage of the project to gain more for themselves, communities,Toto local government and the state at large. Barrister Magaji who hails from Toto local government in 1973, holds LLB honours (civil) from the famous Ahmadu Bello University,( A.B.U) and post graduate Diploma from the same University,.He was called to the Nigerian bar in law school.Bwari, Abuja, Barrister Magaji was a special Adviser ( Youth matters) to the late Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma among other positions he held at various times. He is currently a senior counsel in the office of Attorney General and Minister of Justice and an Aspirant for Nasarawa West senatorial district.
