NCHST Keffi Inducts 18 Pharmacy Technicians.

Nasarawa state College of Health science and Technology (NCHST) Keffi has inducted 18 Pharmacy Technicians as to assist in putting health sector in it rightful place.

Speaking at the occasion which was held Thursday in it’s permanent site in Keffi, Governor Abdullahi Sule advised the new inductees to be good Ambassadors of not only the College, but the state and the country at large.

The Governor who was represented at by the occasion by the state Commissioner for health, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya assured the college of the state government’s commitments in making the college one of the best in the country.

He also assured the readiness of the state government in ensuring that all the courses in the college are accredited. The Governor also assured the college that his doors are open and ever ready to ensure that the college succeed.

Speaking earlier, provost of the college, Malam Suleiman Muhammad said the college has eight schools and eight departments,as according to him, the pharmacy technician department was established in 2017 to train middle cadre Pharmacy Technicians to fill the gaps in the profession, not only in Nasarawa state, but the country at large. Muhammad appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for the support and previledged given to the college to have additional admission quota to 100 as the demand is high. He also commended Keffi Emirates and the host community for their support and urged them to maintain the tempo. Highlights of the occasion include the presentation of awards to three best graduating students,Annor Dauda Ovye, who got CGPA = 3.74, Sani Saratu Dogara= 3.73 and Haruna Kantum=3.7 respectively.
