The Managing Director Nasarawa Urban Development board ( NUDB) Engineer Muhammad Wada Yahaya has warned developers in the state to avoid building their houses along waterways or face the full wrath of the law. Engineer Yahaya who gave the warning in a chat with journalists in his office also called on those who wants to build structures in the state to come to the board to seek for approval before embarking on such projects. The Nasarawa Urban Development Managing director who was the immediate past state commissioner for works, housing and transport was appointed managing Director, Nasarawa Urban Development Board (N. U.D.B by the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule following the expiration of the tenure of the past occupant of the position, Adamu Sule Muhammad. Engineer Wada who assured the developers in the state of the readiness of his board to partner with them also appealed to them to always support the policies and programmes of the state government under, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule whom according to him is gears towards the progress and the development of the state. He therefore assured the people of the state most especially those in the urban centres of Keffi, karu, Nasarawa, Akwanga, Lafia and Doma that the state government under Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule would ensure the development of the state so as the enable the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.” All hands must be on deck to ensure the total development of our dear state under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi A.Sule who is fully ready to ensure that those dreams are fully realized.”.
