Chairman house committee on Education, Science and Technology, Nasarawa state house is Assembly, Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi has said that he has no any problem with the state Accountant general, Mr. Zakka Yakubu on the on-going investigation of 366 Teachers into the state civil service.
Hon Ogazi who made the disclosure in a chat with journalists in his office Wednesday also said” the aim of the investigation committee into the alleged appointment of 366 teachers is to right the wrong.so that everyone should know his job,”.
The lawmaker who represents kokona East at the Nasarawa state house of Assembly further expressed confidence that his committee would do all it could to ensure that Justice is done.
On the allegations that the on- going investigation was going- on because members were not favoured during the purported appointments,. Hon. Ogazi said,”.
I don’t want to join issue with them because once someone feels that we are going to right the wrong,they will give one exercise or the other to ensure that they rubbish the committee.
let me tell you, nobody can intimidaye us, we are doing our work without fear or favour.”
Hon. Ogazi therefore assured the people of the state that his committee will ensure Justice, fairness and Fair- play in order to reveal all those involved in the purported appointments of secondary school teachers in the state.
He also said that he and his committee have never demanded for any favour in the discharge of their responsibilities.
