The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says plateau state needs serious minded leaders with exceptional courage to stay at home and lead the citizens in their moments of helplessness.
The party officials who maintained this while addressing Journalis bets in response to the earlier press briefing by the ruling party in the state, , accusing PDP of being responsible for the recent crisis the state said the needs a purposeful leadership that will make them stand with each other and draw a red line against the next band of marauders.
The publicity secretary of the PDP and one time speaker of the plateau state house of Assembly, Rt Hon. Emmanuel Go’ar expressed regret over the leadership style of Goveror Lalong, stressing that the Goveror who supposedly be in charge of government in the state is always moving in and out of the state living the citizens vulnerable to the enemies.
The opposition party in the state, (PDP) said APC , in it’s earlier press conference accused PDP of being responsible for the recent crisis that had engulfed the state leaving scores of lives and properties worth millions of naira destroyed,
Rt.Hon.Emmanuel Goar whose text hinged on he caption, ” APC In Plateau Unbelievable Insult To Our Collective Tragedy” flanked by other Party stakeholders ,said plateau needs an unprecedentious leadership that sympathizes with the people in their grief and stressed that enough of executive impotent, govermental relapse and childish pandering. PDP, further used the press briefing to berate the ruling party in the state APC, that if Governor Bako Lalong require the direct control of the security agencies to stay at home with his people in their times of trial and to unite them to respond in accord to security challenges ? And further add that the weekly harvest of dead bodies and invaded communities are the mark of Governor Lalong’s best ,then he was never ready for governance as right now,he is simply leaning on a tottering fence. The party further frowned at the claim made by APC that PDP is using traditional and social media which all carefully targeted to discredit Governor , stressed that if APC as a party feels that traditional and social media are all working in concert trying to discredit the governor ,and portraying him as uncaring ,it means that there is unanimous of opinion that the ruling APC in the state is both incompetent , uncaring ,and everybody is talking about it. The allegation that the party and it collaborators smuggled the corpses of those massacre at Yelwa Zangam crisis by militias from the Plateau State Specialist hospital ,to the state House of assembly before the corpses where finally dumped at the gate of government house, is to say the least “remain the rallying toy of Political babes”. “This is the horror taken too far,if APC in their characteristics doesn’t honor the living , will it also disrespect and mock the dead? this shows how far decay and reverse thinking has gripped the APC that is propagated here is direct contact to what has been widely reported by the Community , survivors, journalists, and decried the pains, incompetent APC had inflicted on the citizens of Plateau state ,by extension Nigeria since they rode to power on the back of frenzied propaganda, and described the comment made by party APC to malign the member representing Rukuba/lrigwe Constituency at the state House of assembly under PDP,Hon. Musa Agah as he has not done any projects in his Constituents,that is why he is not going home, said for seasoning politicans and administrators to be talking like child from kindergarten makes one question their psychological and emotional stability . “When a general is sleeping in the middle of a raging and life threatening battle,it show that the general is in wrong vocation?” “Governor Lalong did nothing when the lrigwe before , during and after the annihilation attacks,the whole episode speaks about his capacity and priority .” The people democratic party lamented that under the APC Government,attacks have been consistent and relentless,more Communities are weekly being uprooted and replanted in displayed people’s camps.Gunmen ,ever boastful and arrogant,roam around unchallenged . Victims cried are unheard and unanswered. But regrettably, the media waves and space are filled with stale press releases that carry no sympathy . The APC Government remain weak , absent and an object of mockery as people pay with their blood , harvest and land. The party therefore use the the press conference to advise the ruling APC Government at the state and federal level to look at it’s ugly repulsive record in the six years of it’s governance and get the work done or get out of the kitchen, enough of your insults on the people of Plateau . The citizens of the state will not accept APC’s blame game of death and incompetent any more.
