As local government election in Nasarawa state drew nearer, political parties are making conserted efforts to ensure victorious during the polls. Our correspondent who visited the various political parties in the state reports that leaders of the parties are having sleepless nights to ensure that their candidates are elected as either chairmen or councilors during the October 6th local government election in the state. When Contacted on the matter, state Acting chairman APC ,Dr John D. W. Mamman and his PDP counterpart, Mr Francis Orogu all expressed confidence that their parties will win the election. While Acting state APC chairman Dr John D W Mamman said his party will win with landslide, Orogu of the PDP expressed fear that his party will only win,if there is Free, fair and credible election. He therefore appealed to his supporters not to relent, but to ensure that they participated fully during the exercise.
