The All Progressives Congress ( APC) has cleared all the 13 local government chairmanship and 147 councilorship seats during the last Wednesday local government election in Nasarawa state. Chairman, Nasarawa state Independent Electoral Commission ( NASIEC) Barrister Ayuba Wandai Usman who made the declaration Thursday while addressing journalists at the conference Hall of the commission also commended journalists, security agencies, Management and staff of the commission as well as all the political parties that participated during the election. Wandai further commended members of the public for their support and cooperation before, during and after the election, and urged them to maintain the tempo. When answering a question on the ballot box snatching, late arrival of Electoral Materials to the polling units as well as election malpractices, the NASIEC chairman said,”. There was no any report on this issue you raised before my office,as far as am concerned, the local government election was free fair and credible,”. He called on the people to continue to live in peace with one another in the best interest of peace, harmony and the overall development of our state.
