The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman says he will discharge his duty with fairness, impartiality, objectivity and consideration for all manners of people irrespective of religious, ethnic or political beliefs.
The Chairman made this known on Monday while addressing supporters, friends and well wishers at a lunch at his residence shortly after taking oath of office administered by Governor Simon Lalong at Government House,Jos.

Senior Information Officer Jos North Local Government Council, Philip Eplong, the chairman noted that the office of the Chairman and the Chairman himself would be open and available to all.
Party faithful, supporters, associates, family and friends had accompanied the Jos North Local Government Council Chairman Shehu Bala Usman to his residence amidst cheers and jubilation.
The Chairman said his spell as Management Committee Chairman was rewarding, fulfilling and an enjoyable experience due to the support, love, understanding and cooperation of the inhabitants of the area.
He encouraged the people of the locality to keep the faith in him and to maintain such understanding and love to government as he is set to lead the people of the area as a democratically elected leader.
Usman encouraged citizens of the area and beyond to set aside their differences and work together for the benefit, reconstruction and further development of the area and the state in general.
He commended the Plateau State Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting one of the most peaceful elections in the state as well as the various security agencies for maintaining law and order during and after the polls.
Former Speaker, Plateau State House Assembly Joshua Madaki and Former Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government who was also the Director General of Shehu Bala Usman and Ezekiel Shina Campaign Organization Theresa Azi in their separate remarks called on citizens to have faith in Shehu Bala Usman to build a greater Jos North.
Others who spoke include Francis Gazu and Salihu Kwando said the choice of Shehu Usman as Chairman is right and they are of the belief that the he has been tested and encourage him to consolidate on the gains of the past.
