Gov. Sule Presents #8.67 billion Supplementary Budget to the Assembly, as he nominates chairman, members,CSC and JSC for confirmation. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

Nasarawa state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has presented a Supplementary budget of #8.67 billion Naira to the state house of Assembly for approval. The governor whose letter of conveyance was read on the floor of the house by the speaker,Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi said the request became necessary considering the fact that the 2021 budget could not be implemented to the later due the out break of covid-19 and other related issues that affected not only the state, the country, but the entire world which adversely affected the revenue of the state and the implementation of projects that have direct bearing to the lives of the people of the state. Governor Sule called for the accelerated passage of the budget to enable him meet the demands of the people,moreso that the year is coming to an end. Also Speaking, house leader, hon. Umar Tanko Tunga and other members who spoke during the planery further thrown their weights behind the quick passage of the bill. Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Sule has sent the nomination of the immediate past chairman of the state civil service Commission, Dr Musa Dangana Giza from keana local government for re- appointment as chairman state civil service Commission for confirmation by the house. Also in the list are Mr Joel Olugbo from Kokona local government,re- appointment, Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar , from Lafia local government re- appointment, Para Randolph, from Akwanga local government, newly appointed and Salisu Isa from Nasarawa local government as Members of the Commission. In the same vein, Governor Abdullahi Sule has presented the names of Lawal Abdullahi from Akwanga local government, Yerima Jatau from Lafia local government and Alhaji Sani Oseze from Toto local government as nominees for confirmation as members, state judicial service Commission. Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has fixed Tuesday October 19,2021 for their screening, while they were directed to submit 30 copies of their curriculum vitae to the clerk on or before Monday 18 the October,2021.
