The immediate past Nasarawa state Acting state chairman of All Progressives Congress ( APC) Dr John D. W. Mamman has emerged the State chairman of the party through concensus. Chairman state Congress Committee of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Abass who disclosed this during the party’s state Congress in Lafia Saturdays also commended the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule and the party loyalists in the state for easing their job,as all other positions were returned through concensus arrangements. Abass further explained that the state concensus arrangements as adopted by the party would go along way in ensuring an enduring democracy in the state, hence the need for other states in the federation to emulate Nasarawa state in the best interest of peace, unity and the progress of the party. He therefore appealed to the teaming supporters of the party to rally round the new leadership of the party to ensure the success of the party in the next general election in the country. Earlier, the chairman, state Congress Committee inaugurated the newly elected local government officials of all the 13 local government in the state with the call on them to Carry everyone along to ensure the success of the party during the next general election in the state. Also Speaking, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa state while congratulating the newly elected local governments and state officials of the party, also called on them to be up and doing in ensuring the success of the party in next general elections. Governor Sule further commended the chairman and members of the state Congress Committee for their commitments in ensuring the hitch- free Congress in the state. Speaking on behalf of other officials, the state APC chairman, Dr John D. W. Mamman assured the party loyalists and the leaders of the party that they would not let them down. Mamman further appealed to all asundry to join hands with them to ensure the success of the party during elections in the state.
