Nasarawa state newly elected APC chairman, Dr John D.W. Mamman has thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state,senators Abdullahi Adamu, Umaru Tanko Al Makura and Godiya Akwashiki as well as the APC supporters in the state for electing him as the state chairman of the party. Mamman who disclosed this in a chat with journalists shortly after he was retained as the state chairman of APC at Lafia parade ground on Saturday also appreciated those who contested with him before a concensus was reached like the state secretary of the party,Hon. Aliyu Bello to join hands with him to ensure the success of the party during elections. He also commended the state Congress Committee under the leadership of Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Abass for ensuring the success of the Congress which was adopted through concensus. Mamman used the opportunity to call on the people of the state to join hands with the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule whom he described as God-fearing, a man of fairness and Justice to ensure the success of his government. On his plans for the ruling party in the state, Mamman said” we are going to ensure that we abide strictly on the Constitution of our party in whatever decision we are going to take to ensure the smooth running of our party”.
