The Executive of the Tiv Development Association (TIDA), has expressed joy over the elevation of one of their own, MATTHEW GWAR BURKAA, Esq to the prestigious position/rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC).
A statement on behalf of herself of Board of Trustees and entire good Tiv people of Nasarawa State headed by Comrade Peter Ahemba, TIDA President, described the appointment of the legal luminary, as well- deserved.
Accirding to the statement, ” Your conferment and elevation as a learned silk and a respected member of the inner bar in the temple of justice which is the pinnacle of legal practice did not come to us as a surprise, considering your track record of achievements in the practice of your cherish profession.
“You have indeed made not just the Tiv people of Nasarawa State proud, but also placed our dear Nasarawa State on the map of legal practice. Attaining this rank as one of the most vibrant, capable, smartest and youngest legal practitioners to reckon with, in Nasarawa State and Nigeria as a whole is a thing of joy.
“May the Almighty God continue to grant you fullness of health, wisdom, protection and everything you desire, even as He raises you beyond the expectations of mortals. Amen.

It was gathered that, the elevation of the Barr Burkaa as the Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN has brought to a number three Senior Advocates of Nigeria, in Nasarawa State and the first Tiv person to attained to that position in the state.
