Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has promised to flag-off Akpanaja- Rukubi – Idadu- Agbashi roads soon in order to tackling the transportation problems faced by farmers and their goods in the area.
The governor who disclosed this when he visited Olams Rice farm as well as the commissioning of 50 kwp solar power project of the world Bank in collaboration with the federal government, however, explained that scarcity of funds hinders the execution of bogus projects in the state., pointing out that his administration has succeeded in completing the Mararaban Udege, Sinsin Baki kwara roads, saying that,” the ground breaking of Akpanaja- Rukubi- Idadu- Agbashi roads would commence this year.
He said the six benefitting communities were selected from the world Bank project which were started and completed in Rukubi by husk power.
On his welcome address earlier, chairman, Doma local government Council, Hon. Ahmed Usman Sarki appreciated Olams rice farm for providing security to Rukubi and it environs.also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his transperancy and accountability in the discharge of his official duties.
Sarki also an unalloyed support and cooperation to the governor by the people of Doma local government to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead of him.
Also Speaking, Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo commended Former president Good luck Ebele Jonathan for supporting the establishment of Olams farm in Rukubi and also Governor Abdullahi Sule for wooing investors into the state. Saying”Nasarawa state is a place to do business under the current administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule.,”
He named some of the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule to include bringing flour Mills of Nigeria,Dangote Azman farms amongst other investors into the state.
The royal father also appreciated the Governor for the promise to construct Akpanaja- Rukubi- Idadu- Agbashi roads saying,” the construction of the roads will open up a window of opportunities to the commoners and the state at large.
