Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has appointed 18 Développement Area Overseers to man the activities of Development Areas in the state.
The governor in a letter with reference number S/SSG/GA/257/vol.11 dated November 3rd, 2021.which contained the names of 18 Développement Area Overseers and addressed to the speaker, also said the presentation of the list was in fulfilment of the provision of the Nasarawa state local government law 2018part x117.
The names of the Overseers according to the governor are as follows. Bello Akoza -Ekye development Area, Salisu Adamu ,-Udege, Dr Rabo Dakare-Panda Ibrahim Arafat-Karshu, and Yusuf Samson-Gadabuike.
Others are Iliyasu Miryan-Umaisha, Adamu Omale,-Agwada, Solomon Bande-Farin Ruwa,Sadiq Akiri -Azara. Yunusa Amwe-Akwanga West, Haruna Muhammad, Lafia-North,Yahuza Ahmadu Na Allah -lafia North, Muhammad Baba Abdullahi-Giza, Dauda Danladi Agbo -Daddere,. Luka Ayele-Jenkwe, Yusuf Ibrahim Auta-Agidi, Moses Anvah-Akun and Shuaibu Umaru Loko, Loko development Area. Responding, speaker of the Nasarawa state house of Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi urged the nominees to submit 30 copies of their credentials to the clerk of the house between Monday and Tuesday and to appear before the house for screening on Wednesday 11 November,2021.
