Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has presented a budget of over #109.8 as 2022 Appropriation to the state house of Assembly.
Presenting the budget on the floor of the house Thursday, Governor Abdullahi Sule who tagged ,” budget of sustainable development.” also said the sum of #70,891,582,40, about 64.56% While the sum of #38,909,922,40 about 35.44% as capital expenditure.
The governor also explained that the the focus of 2022 budget would be on security, good governance, completion of on- going projects, workers Welfare, employment opportunity and the encouragement of commercial ventures,
Others are review of monthly over head costs to ministries and Agencies, monitoring of ministries and Agencies as well as that the revenue generation sources are tapped.
The governor also commended the speaker and members of the house for the good working relationship existing between the Assembly and the government, and called for it sustenance in the best interest of the state.
Responding, shortly after receiving the budget , Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi commended the governor for presenting the budget as scheduled and pledged to ensure the quick passage of the budget.
The speaker also commended governor Abdullahi Sule for the on- going renovation of the chamber and also assured of the support of the Assembly at all times.
