The opinion poll in Wuse chiefdom recently indicates that the permanent secretary , Ministry of Agriculture and Water resources, Alhaji Nuhu Bunu is the right choice of the people of Wuse chiefdom, Azara Development Area in Awe local government Area of Nasarawa state
According to an opinion poll conducted in the area by our correspondent indicates that although there are other contenders to the stool which includes former Military Administrator of Zamfara state ,Col. Jibrin Bala Yakubu ( rted) Malam Rabiu Wuse of Nasarawa state Geographical Information System( NAGIS) amongst others for the stool of Sarkin Wuse, following the demise of the former occupant, the Owuse of Wuse chiefdom, HRH Aliyu Ashuku who died recently,. But the most popular among them is the permanent secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Water resources, Alhaji Nuhu Bunu who have the support most the kingmakers, youths, both Young and old, women and other tribes living in Wuse chiefdom for years.
Speaking to this reporter in Wuse, the Ardon fulani of Wuse chiefdom Ardo Abdullahi Burki who said he was born and brought up in Wuse and that his people are living peacefully with the people of the area prayed God to choose the rightful person that will bring peace, harmony and rapid development to not only Wuse chiefdom, but Awe local government Area, Nasarawa state and Nigeria as a whole.
When asked to name the person that will bring peace and harmony to the area, he said.” That person is Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu.”
Also Speaking,Tor Tiv of Wuse chiefdom, Zaki Terkumbi who described Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu as a peace loving person called on the governor of Nasarawa state, Engineer Abdullahi Sule and the Wuse kingmakers to select, Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu as the new Sarkin Wuse.
On his part, a kingmaker in Wuse chiefdom, the Gayam Wuse said selecting said selecting Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu as the new Sarkin Wuse, will go along way in bringing peace, unity, Progress and rapid Development, to not only Wuse chiefdom, but Nasarawa state and Nigeria as a whole.
Gayam Wuse therefore appealed to his fellow kingmakers and the state government to as a matter of urgency appoint the permanent secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Water resources, Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu as the new Sarkin Wuse.
A youth activist in Wuse, Malam Ladan Wuse, said the only person that is capable and competent of taking Wuse chiefdom to an enviable heights is Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu and called on the state government to do the . by appointing, Alhaji Usman Nuhu Bunu as the new Sarkin Wuse.
Ladan who described Alhaji Nuhu Usman Bunu as a humble and a complete gentleman also called on Governor Abdullahi Sule to appoint him as the new Sarkin Wuse chiefdom.
