Nasarawa state government has been expending the sum of #30 million on the Supply of water in the state.

General Manager, Nasarawa state water board, Engineer Haruna Shafa who made the disclosure in a chat with journalists in his office also commended the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for the support he has been rendering to the board. ” Since Governor Abdullahi Sule came on board, he has been doing his best to ensure that there is adequate water supply in all the local government Areas of the state. ” We have been supplying water at least twice or thrice a week,”.

On the quantity of water supply to the state, the General Manager state water board said,” we gets 20 million- 25 million litres of water per day, to all the local government Areas of the state except karu local government which is yet to be linked with water.’

He said the problems facing his board includes lack of payment of water bills by the water consumers especially the elites, and therefore urged them to change their attitudes in the best interest of peace and Progress of the state.
