Nasarawa State house of Assembly has passed into law the 2022 Appropriation bill of #114.3 billion for this fiscal year.
Speaker of the house , hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who made the disclosure on the floor of the house, Wednesday also said the budget was jerked up by #4.5 billion.
He said the jerked up of the 2022 budget become necessary following the sectoral increase of the budget which is aimed improving the living standard of the people of Nasarawa state.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi Fürther commended his colleagues for a job well done in passing the budget at the right time and urged them to maintain the tempo in the best interest of the house and the state.
He also commended the consultants engaged by the minitries Departments and Agencies for their efforts in passing the budget which according to him would go along way in the overall development of the state.
It would be recalled that Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state had on Thursday December 9th 2021 presented a budget proposal of #109.8 billions to the state house of Assembly as 2022 appropriation bill which was jerked up to #114.3 billion by the house which was passed into law.
