Farmers in Nasarawa State lament their land is no longer safe, alleging that suspecting armed Fulanis have taken over the entire Doka council Ward of Ekye Develoent Area, in Doma LGA and substantial part of Kwara council Ward of Giza Development area, Keana LGA.
Some of the Elders who volunteered information to this medium confirm how the communities in these areas have been dispossessed of their ancestral homes while the Marauders have occupied the land.
Accordingly, the route between linking Agyaragu-Kwara-Doka-Ankoma-Ajimaka-Rukubi is no longer safe to ply, even as it requires rehabilitation to enable security agencies check continuous attacks on farming communities
The communities are however calling on the Nasarawa state government to intervene and do something very fast before the rainy season sets in.
