The Oron Akye ( Paramount ruler of Akye Chiefdom in Lafia local government Area of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji has conferred traditional titles to governor Abdullahi Sule, Ambassador Henry John Omaku,( Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, State APC Chairman, Dr John D.W Mamman, Secretary to the state government, Barrister Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma Among others.
Speaking at the occasion, the Oron Akye, Alhaji Abdullahi Magaji said his decision to confer traditional title to Governor Abdullahi Sule was informed by the performances of the governor in the areas of education, security, Health, Industrialization, Agriculture rural and Urban roads construction amongst others.
While commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in transforming the state also assured the governor for unalloyed Support and cooperation of his people most especially on the policies and programmes of his administration.
He therefore appealed to governor Abdullahi Sule to construct the Ashige,Ugah, Fadaman Bauna, Arikya and Wamba roads in order to ease transportation problems faced by his people.
Those conferred with trade titles includes Governor Abdullahi Sule as Magajin Garin Akye, Ambassador Henry John Omaku as Giwan Akye, Barrister Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma as Marafan Akye and Barrister Muhammad Haruna,( Overseer , Lafia East Development Area as Jagaban Akye amongst others.
