The Doma local government chair in Nasarawa State, Architect Ahmad Usman Sarki has called on president Muhammadu Buhari and APC critical stakeholders to as a matter of urgency give the position of national Chairman of the party to senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makuta.
Architect Ahmad Usman Sarki who made the call shortly after the stakeholders my of the party at the Doma APC Secretariat on Tuesday also said the decision to endorse senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura as APC national Chairman was informed by the decision of the APC stakeholders in the state who endorsed Senator Al- Makura as the party’s concensus candidate from the state.
He further explained the other reason of endorsing senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura as the party’s concensus candidate was informed by the immense contributions of senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura right from CPC and later APC.
Sarki also stated that senator Umaru Thank Al- Makura is the right person to become the APC national Chairman because of his doggedness,hard working, Commitment, competency and his intimidating records as governor of Nasarawa State for eight years.
He therefore called on the people of Doma local government Area, Nasarawa State and Nigeria ss a whole to enable him clinch the APC national championship position.
Also Speaking, state Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Investment, Alhaji Salihu Ennah said the decision of the APC Stakeholders in Doma local government to endorse senator Umaru Tanko Al- Makura as concensus candidate was informed by the developmental strides of senator Umaru Tanko Al- Makua’s efforts during his eight years as governor of the state.
He therefore called on all asundry to support him to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.
