APC Support Group Distances Self From Calls For Disbandment Of Ex-governor AbdulKarim

The APC Initiative for good governance (APC-IGG) has reacted to a press statement published online supporting the clamour for disbandment of the most vibrant and people centred political party, the ruling APC, under the caption CRISIS: APC SUPPORT GROUP BACKS EX-GOVERNOR, ABDUL KARIM ON DISBANDMENT by APC National Solidarity Forum supporting former governor of old Sokoto state owing to some acclaimed rifts within the party.

APC Initiative for good governance (APC-IGG) says would not want to join issues with her brothers and sisters, but called on each other to sheath swords especially among APC family of Sokoto and the nation at large. Saying, APC- IGG view the Outburst by APC National Solidarity Forum, as out of shear love and admiration for the party. On this note, the initiative wish to remind all party loyalist and faithfuls that APC as a party is mightier than any individual and that conflicts of interest are normal in any human gathering which APC is not an exception and are currently being addressed by the National Secretariat which we believe will come to pass.

“APC Initiative for good governance wish to also informed the APC national Solidarity Forum that, APC – IGG is standing tall in support of the party leadership in ensuring that all conflicting issues are amicably resolved.

“APC as a party stands for justice, equity and fairness by providing an enabling platform for inclusiveness irrespective of believe, tribe or region for full participation in the party affairs.

“On this note, APC – IGG wish to call on the leaders and members of APC national Solidarity Forum to as a matter of urgency jettison any idea that will bring our great party the APC to disrepute.
Let’s not allowed some individuals or groups to infiltrate the party to destruction.

“The National caretaker/ special convention committee under the able leadership of His excellency, Mai Mala Buni and Governor of Yobe state has done well by restoring trust and confidence to the party as the party set to sail towards the February 26th 2022, National convention. Let us not allow our personal ego, ambitions and pride derail the successes and achievements already attained by our great party which Nigerians keep supporting.
