As the Democratization process for the election of national executives of the All Progressives Congress, APC takes centre stage, many interest groups are resting at nothing to ensure that real men and women of proven integrity who have the Goodwill and the interest of the party at heart get elected.
Consequently, Plateau women and youths have lend thier voices on the need for the immediate past State Acting Chairman of the party, Eunoch Fanmark to Contest the Position of the Deputy National Secretary of the Party in the forth Coming Convention slated for 26th march
Chairmen and secretaries of the various Concerned groups tagged Plateau APC Transformation group, Spokesman of the group Monday Datong says following the track record of the former chairman whose tenure in the state brought stable, progress, peace, increase in party supporters and above all supervised the election that brought in the incumbent party executives led by Rufus Nature despite pressure on him to alter the zoning arrangement but insisted on the party rules who is paramount to the unity and progress of the party
Dantong told our reporter that, the former Acting Chairman’s track record in the few months he ran the affairs of the party saw to the smooth transition of party executives from one to another conducted one of the most peaceful Congresses starting from the wards, local governments and state executives where worthy men and women were elected to pilot the affairs of the party
“Fanmark also supervised the local government primaries elections that eventual produced the current crop of elected chairmen in the 17 local government areas who the party won all the seats, ran an open door policy in the party executive council were all party executives were carried along in the smooth running of affairs
“Under his leadership transparency, Prudence and accountability was his watch word while piloting the party he added”
He said Party loyalty is key in the development of party structure and no better in rewarding this fine,quality and resounding gentlemen who have served the party in various capacity since 2014 when the All progressive congress breath its first fresh air into plateau state and then went ahead to win the state governorship elections in 2015 and repeated the feat in 2019 and is well prepared to retain the seat in 2023 all these are part of the roles this dynamic and obedient servant have played ensuring the party remains relevant in the state
The appealed the state governor Simon lalong, Chairman 19 Northern governors forum and the leader and captain of the party in the state to support this gentleman to emerge as the next Deputy National Secretary of the party in the 26th march Convention having the party zoned the position to the state think plateau, act plateau
