Former Minister of Information, Hon. Labaran Maku has said that all the projects Commissioned by president Muhammadu Buhari during his official visit to Nasarawa State except Lafia and karu bus terminals were Initiated by the PDP administration in the state.
Maku who.made the disclosure when he led thousands of his supporters to the state PDP Secretariat to inform them formally for h re- joining the party and to contest for the Governorship of the state.
The former member of the federal executive Council used the opportunity to apologise to the party supporters and members of the state working committee for his action of leaving the party seven years ago, for All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) saying his decision at that time was informed by the leaders of the party at that time who gave the Governorship ticket of the party to s wrong person.
Maku used the opportunity to call on the present leadership of the party to do the needful by ensuring that they conducted free,fair and credible primary election of the party that can be accepted by all aspirants.
He assured that he would accept the outcome of the party primaries when it is conducted free, fair and credible, pointing out that PDP will win landslide in 2023 if the right things are done.
Maku therefore called for all asundry to join hands with the state leadership of PDP to ensure it Success come 2023.
Responding, state PDP Chairman, Comrade Francis Orogu who expressed happiness for the return of hon.Labaran Maku to the party, also assured level playing field for all aspirants during the party’s primaries.
Oroku also used the opportunity to call on all those that left the party to come back and rescue it from the maladministration of APC in the the state come 2023.
