Gen. Angbazo Raises Hope For a New Nasarawa

A frontline Governorship Aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Major Gen. Nuhu Ekpaji Angbazo (rtd), has urged the people of Nasarawa state to keep faith high and pray for the emergent of a new leadership in the next year’s general election.
Major General Angbazo who is the immediate past General Officer Commanding, GOC of the 3rd Armoured Dividsion of the Nigeria Army, Jos, Plateau State, stated this in a goodwill message to both Christians and Muslims on the occassions of the Easter celebration and the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.
He urged the two faithfuls to commit Nasarawa state to God for clemency.
A statement from the Angbazo media office, said the PDP chieftain also assured the citizens of greater hopes but tasked all to be committed to the peace, unity and development of the young state.
Major General Angbazo(rtd) who was instrumental to the engagement of over a hundred jobs for Nasarawa indigenous people also used the occasions to felicitate with the people on the period he described as a ‘divine coincidence by God to unite the people for development’.
He said his entrance into the 2023 Governorship race was to provide a solid choice for the people in choosing the next governor from within the profile of the rescue mission being launched by the PDP in the state in the midst of the shackles of poverty, insecurity and underdevelopment.
The retired Army General promised to breach the missing gaps thus return the solid mineral state to the path of development through the creation of job opportunities for the unemployed graduates, ensure regular payment of workers’ salaries, secure the farmlands for massive food production and create conducive business activities.
