The executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman has condemned in strong terms the illegal relocation of Jos Electricity Distribution Company Transformers, power poles and lines leading to the loss of innocent lives in the area.

Philip Eplong. frowned at the attitude of these unscrupulous elements who connive with JED staff to relocate these transformers to enable them expand their houses and business premises, saying it is inhumane, condemnable and a crime against humanity.
He appealed to the relevant authorities , especially the Jos Metropolitan Development Board JMDB to investigate this act of sabotage and bring the perpetrators to justice in order to serve as deterrent to others.
He urged members of the public to report people indulging in such act of illegality to the relevant authorities in order not to jeopadized the lives of citizens.
The Chairman advised relevant authorities to as a matter of urgency, embark on an inspection exercise to apprehend those who indulge in the illegal exercise to jeopardize the lives of others for selfish reasons.
He used the occasion to sympathised with the families of those who lost their loved ones as a result of the unfortunate incident and pray for the repose of their souls.
