A retired Supretendent of police, Ahmed Gayam has joined the Nasarawa State house of Assembly race to represent Lafia Central constituency.
Speaking to journalists at the APC state Secretariat Monday, Gayam said his decision to join the state house of Assembly race was informed by his decision to give good representation to the people of Lafia Central constituency at the state house of Assembly ,if given the mandate by his people.
Gayam who retired from the Nigeria police force February this year also pledged to use his wealth of experience as a senior police officer to ensure peace and the maintenance of law and order in his constituency.
He also pledged to give priority to the education so that everyone in his constituency would enjoy the benefit of education to enable them assist themselves and their immediate family.
Gayam therefore called on APC supporters in his constituency to ensure he emerged victorious not only during primary, but general elections.
