Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has on Thursday floored the ex-wife of the APC national Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Dr Fatima Hussaini Abdullahi at the keenly contest at the Lafia city hall.
Chairman, Nasarawa State Governorship APC primary 2022 , Ambassador Musa Ibeto while announcing the results of the primary election said ” Governor Abdullahi Sule got a total of 699 to beat the other contender, Dr. Fatima Hussaini Abdullahi who got three votes.”
Ambassador Ibeto further explained that he was impressed with the level of peace, and orderly manner before, during and after the election also called on the state delegates to maintain the tempo in the best interest of the party, the state and the country.
He therefore appealed to the APC family in the state to join hands in order to ensure the victory of the party at all levels during the next general election.
On her part,Dr Fatima Hussaini Abdullahi who accepted the outcome of the primary election in good faith, assured that she and her supporters would continue to give their support to the APC to ensure it Success at all levels.
While congratulating Governor Abdullahi Sule for clinching the party’s ticket, pledged her support and loyalty to him and the party to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.
Speaking shortly after declaring winner, Governor Abdullahi Sule who Commended delegates for doing the needful, also assured the people of the state of his developmental efforts in the state, when he eventually wins the 2023 general election.
He therefore called for support and cooperation of all asundry to enable him to continue to bring the dividends of democracy to their doorstep.
