Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has said that the party in the state would soon set up a reconciliation committee to reconcile aggrieved members of the party in the state.
The governor who made the disclosure during the state executive council meeting at governmt house Lafia Monday also said the committee when set would go round the state to hear from the aggrieved members of the party following the outcome of the party’s primaries with a view to find a lasting solution to their grievances.
While congratulating those that made it during the Primaries, the governor assured them of total Support to ensure that they won the general election,as according to him,” APC is a party to beat in the state and the country at large.”
He equally Commended Party loyalists, security agents and other critical stakeholders in the state for ensuring the success of the party’s primaries in the state , which he adjudged as one of the best in the country.
The governor also used the occasion to congratulate the APC family in the state for the success recorded during the party’s national convention last March in Abuja where the former governor of the state senator Abdullahi Adamu emerged victorious as the national Chairman of the party.
Governor Abdullahi Sule equally used the opportunity to apologise to the members of the state executive council for his inability to convene state executive council meetings due to his crowded schedule and pledged to allow the state deputy Governor,Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe to convene the meeting on his behalf whenever he is absent.
The meeting also discussed issues of insecurity in Ekye development Area where two people were reported killed and pledged to work in synergy with the security agents in the state in order to tackle the issue of insecurity in the state.
He therefore assured the people of the state that more security vehicles would be provided to the security agencies in the state in order to ensure the security of lives and property of the people of the state.
