Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has lost his personal Assistant ( P.A.) on power, Alhaji Jamilu Muhammad Yakubu in a ghastly autocrash along Akwanga- Lafia road on Thursday.
According to a press statement signed by the Chief press secretary ( CPS) to Governor Abdullahi Sule, Malam Ibrahim Addra and copy made available to journalists in Lafia said,” Governor Sule expressed shock and sadness over the demise of his personal Assistant on power, Alhaji Jamilu Muhammad Yakubu a ghastly autocrash along Akwanga- Lafia road Thursday.,”
The statement further stated that ,Governor Abdullahi Sule who paid condolence visit to the family and attended the funeral prayers prayed Allah to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and Allah Subhannahu Wata’Allah to grant him Aljannat Firdausi.
It would be recalled that the late personal Assistant to the governor on power, Alhaji Jamilu Muhammad Yakubu was instrumental to the realization of Akurba 330kvA power station which was commissioned by president Muhammadu Buhari in February this year, a project that tackled the perennial power shortage in the state since commissioning.
