Ensure Stability, And Sustainability Of Power Supply In Nasarawa State. — Former NAEPA GM Urges Gov. Sule. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

Former General Manager, Nasarawa State Electricity Power Agency ( NAEPA) Engineer Abubakar Danjuma Ango has called on Governor Abdullahi Sule to ensure the stability and sustainability of power supply in the state.

Engineer Danjuma Ango who made the call in a letter to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and copy made available to journalists in Lafia also suggested that a son of the soil , Prince Mark Elayo ( Turakin Keana) , the Managing Director,/ chief Executive Officer, Marks and Adams has all it takes to set the ball rolling in supplying metres to the state.

He suggested that the proposed Nasarawa Metres Assembly manufacturing facility should be encouraged to provide succour to the teaming consumers of electricity growing by the day as it would provide job opportunities and transfer of technology to the faculty of Engineering in the state University in Gudi and the Federal University Lafia .

Pointing out that Internally generated revenue ( IGR) in the state would be enhanced. adding that the complaints by the residents is as a result of unmetered premises which resulted to very high bills estimation based on band A cost reflective tarriff.
