The New Nigerians People’s Party ( NNPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has lost six of his supporters in a ghastly motor accident in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Tuesday.
According to an eyewitness account, the incident which occurred near the main gate of the state College of Agriculture, Science And Technology, Lafia as a result of reckless driving from the driver of the vehicle was said to have lost control and hit the other side of the road where the vehicle summersaulted and killed all the occupants of the vehicle.
The NNPP presidential candidate who attended the funeral of the victims also prayed God to grant them eternal rest.
The NNPP flgbearer who was accompanied by the Governorship Candidate of the party in the state , Abdullahi Maidoya, state party chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Sidi Muhammad Bako among others later attended a meeting of party’s stakeholders at the TAAL conference hotel along jos road Lafia told his supporters that his aim of contesting the presidency is to salvage the country from the misadministration of APC governmt.
He therefore called for the support of all Nigerians to enable win the next year’s general election.
Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has condoled the families of those who lost their lives at the weekend.
According to a press statement signed by his chief Press secretary,Malam Ibrahim Addra and copy made available to journalists in Lafia said the governor while consoling the family over the irreparable loss and prayed Allah to grant them Aljannat Firdausi.
