The immediate past chairman, PDP board of Trustees ( BOT) Senator Walid Jibril has been appointed as the chairman campaign council of People’s Democracy Party ( PDP) Nasarawa State council.
State chairman of the party, Hon. Francis Orogu who made the disclosure shortly after that stakeholders meeting of the party in Lafia Tuesday also said although the committee would be inaugurated at a later , but expressed optimism that with the calibre Of people in the campaign council, he had no doubt in his mind that the party will defeat the APC government in the next year’s general elections.
Honourable Orogu who could not explain the remaining names in the campaign council, but said former minister of Information, Hon. Labaran Maku is the Director- General PDP campaign council,. former minister of state, Federal Ministry of Justice, Barrister Musa Elayo, former State chairmen of the party, Alhaji Zakari Ayitogo and chief Yunana k.Iliya are leaders of various committees.
Hon Orogo further stated that Nigeria and Nasarawa State needs changes as according to him,’ For us to change the failed governments of Engineer Abdullahi Sule and that of Muhammadu Buhari,we Must vote for Davematics Ombugadu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar during the next year’s general elections.
