Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has warned politicians in the state against political Thuggery and crisis before, during and after the 2023 general elections .
The Governor who handed down the warning during the 2022 Independence anniversary and 26th years of the creation of Nasarawa State at Lafia square during the weekend also appealed to them avoid campaigns of calumny and character assisanation which is capable of tarnishing the good image of the state and the country.
Governor Abdullahi Sule used the occasion to commend the founding fathers of the state for their immense contributions to the development of the state and urged that all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of his administration in the state.
He also Commended the people of the state for their continued support and cooperation to his administration and appealed to them to continue in the best interest of the state and the country.
Meanwhile Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State was given a pat on the back for attracting investors and for his developmental efforts in the state.
State commissioner for Works and Transport, Engineer Idris Muhammad Idris who made the disclosure in a chat with journalists in Lafia as part of activities marking the 62th Independence anniversary of Nigeria and 26th anniversary for the creation of Nasarawa State also said Governor Abdullahi Sule has done much to the state since he assumed the mantle of leadership of the state about three and a half years ago.
Engineer Idris used the opportunity to call on the people of Nasarawa State to continue to support the administration of governor Abdullahi Sule to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead of him.
