The Concerned Plateau state Youth has distanced herself on a purported Petition written against the Provost Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology Jos, Dr. Sunday Etukudoh,
NASARAWA REPORTERS gathered on good authority that, there is a current petition circulating the social media claiming to have emanated from the concerned Plateau state Youth and is sent to the National Assembly, by Amorphous group.
But in a sharp reaction, the plateau youth says, “We want to draw the attention of the National Assembly and members of the Public to be aware of such antics that want to smear the image of the school and cause disharmony between the Institution and Plateau state Citizens.
In a statement signed by leader of the group and signed by her leader,read thus:
The Rt. Honourable speaker,House of Representatives,National Assembly.
Re- Petition against Dr.N.S. Etukudoh,Provost Federal School of medical Technology science Jos.
”Mr. Speaker sir, we write without mincing words,that the said petition did not emanet from us. In a statement signed by the leader and secretary of the group Comrades John James and Emmanuel Musa.After such purported Petition was written and submitted to your good office, against the Provost of federal school of Medical Laboratory Technology Science Jos. We carried out a painstaking and meticulous investigation on the allegations of maladministration,corruption and breach of trust,were just mere hearsay and unfounded.
”We want to state it here clearly sir, that the group of people that wrote the petition were totally misled and misinformed to raised such weighty allegations on the personality of the Provost who is working round the clock to lift the institution to the higher height.
”On Such allegations, the petitioners also pointed out the Breach of constitutional provision of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“The nominal roll of the staff of institution cut across all the states of the federation including federal capital Territory. The assertion is nothing but the figment of the imaginations of the petitioners.
“We want to appeal to you sir,to use your good office and disregard the purported Petition from such amorphous body,instead of such frivolous petitions,all hands should be on deck to move the institution forward.
“The management of the institution, has been in constant dialogue with the host community, Traditional Rulers,state House of Assembly and other institutions in the state for effective service delivery.
“Plateau state Youth Council, which is the umbrella body of all the youths in the state, irrespective of any affiliation has also established a firm relationship with the school on the various ways of employment, empowerment and skills acquisitions.
“The salient achievements of the Provost are conspicuous and what he need at this moment is wise counsel,encouragement and guidance from members of the Public. The immeasurable and dedication of Dr.Etukudoh should be commended.
“On the issue of infrastructures, the institution has since moved to her permanent site and all efforts are on top gear on daily basis to improve on it and meet up with global base practices.
“We wish to state that,the provost be giving adequate support by all and sundry to continue with the good work.
Such people should stop forthwith from such petitions and distractions.
“And finally we pass a vote of confidence on the the leadership of the Provost and his management team”.
