Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state would mark his one year in office on Friday 29th May, 2020 ,as part of activities marking the event, he is going flag-off the Lafia terminal bus stop among other projects.
Addressing press conference on Friday, state deputy, Governor, Dr,Emmanuel Akabe said Friday prayers was held in all the mosques in the state, while the interdenominational service would be held across churches in the state.
The deputy Governor further explained that the state government intended to have an elaborate ceremony, but due to the corona virus pandemic, they have decided to do a low key occasion.
He said commissioners in the state would be interviewed on media to show case the achievements of Governor Abdullahi sule in the state in the past one year with the view to make the people of the state knew the achievements of the Governor.
The deputy Governor also stated that government would commission completed projects while the on – going ones would be inspected.
He commended journalists in the state for the support given to the Administration one year ago and urged them to maintain the tempo.
