Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN deployed at RARIN-SHOU Village of Barking Ladi Plateau state have rearrested Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim, one of the 6 notorious inmates that escaped at High Court BARKIN LADI on 23 July 2020 following a manhunt operation launched by OPSH to rearrest the escapees.
A statement from the Media Officer of OPSH, Ibrahim Shittu (Major) indicates that the rearrested criminal has since been handed over to the Nigerian Correctional Service Plateau State Command.
The officer says Efforts are ongoing to rearrest the remaining ones, and urges anybody with useful information on any of the escaped inmates to please contact the nearest OPSH location or the Nigerian Police for necessary actions.
