A 14 year old Khalifa Lawan of Mayo-gwai in Jalingo local government area of Taraba state has been arrested by members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria for allegedly defiling a 4 year old girl name withheld.
Speaking with our Correspondent through a WhatsApp chat, VGN Commander, Jalingo Command, Munnir Bello said the suspect were apprehended by his men on Thursday morning at AA kassa under Barde ward in Jalingo local government area.
In a video clip made available by the commander during an interrogation, the suspect, Khalifa Lawan admitted to have committed the crime, adding that this is the fifth of his victims.
” I have defiled about 5 girls most of them are within the ages of 3-4 and one at Nasarawo, one at NTA, one at Sabon Layi, one at Mayo Dasa and this one in our area Mayo-gwai, we lives in Mayo-gwai with my parent” Lawan disclosed.
He further revealed that ” There is one Adamu whom i called my Boss because he was the one who introduced me to this evel act and we became closed when i was learning a mechanic work while he was selling a sells phones close to our workshop.
” Some time back, he gave me a powdered medicine (Charm) called “LAKUM” and i mixed it with an alcohol and drank, since then even if i wanted to quit i could not and once i called them they used to come without giving them anything” Lawan confessed.
The suspect however, explained that Adamu also used to play with his manhood and give him N50-N100 for feeding before he introduced him to that evel act.
” Adamu used to give me N50 or N100 to go and eat after he touched my ‘Lily’ that is my private part and when he asked me to go and start defiling small girls when i came back he will touched my manhood and he upgraded the amount to N800/N1000″ 14 year old khalifa revealed.
However, commenting on the development, VGN Commander, Jalingo local government Command, Commander Munir Bello reiterated their commitment toward cotinues assisting security agents in curbing all forms of crimes in the society.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been handed over to the CID department at the Police Headquarters, Taraba state Command by the Administration Officer of the VGN Jalingo local government Command, Nuhu Usman for further investigation.
