God sent Buhari, Engr Sule, Akabe to assist the poor,needy, – – – Turakin Awe. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

The immediate past Commissioner for local government , chieftaincy Affairs and Community development, Nasarawa State., Hon Yusuf Aliyu Turaki has said that God has brought president Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state and his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe to assist the poor and the needy in the society.

Turaki who disclosed this in Awe, headquarters of Awe local government during the disbursement of #10,000 to 100 vulnerable women on Sunday also called on the people of Awe local government, Nasarawa state and Nigeria to continue to pray for the APC Administration in the country to enable them succeed on the enormous tasks ahead.

The former Commissioner for local government, Community development and chieftaincy Affairs used the forum to call on the people of Awe local government to continue to support the Administration of president Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abdullahi Sule and the chairman Awe local government, Dr Umar Usman to enable them provides more dividends of democracy to them.

Also Speaking, chairman ,Awe local government Council Dr. Umar Usman while commending Governor Abdullahi Sule and his deputy,Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe also assured them for the support and cooperation of the people of Awe local government to enable them succeed on the tasks ahead.

Dr Umar assured that the people of Awe local government are solidly behind the Administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule and his deputy Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, and urged the people of the state to live in peace with one another in the best interest of the state and the country.

On his part, Nasarawa state deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe said the money given to 100 women in Awe local government was part of his modest contributions to improving the well-being of the people.

Akabe also urged them to use the money in which it was meant,so that he can increase their capital in doing their businesses.

Highlights of the occasion includes the distribution of #10,000 Cash to each of the 100 beneficiaries in Awe local government Area.

It would be recalled that similar exercise was done in Doma, Lafia and Oni local government Areas of the state some months ago
