2022 Budget : Nasarawa Assembly Members Sacrifices Weekend To Ensure The Early Passage Of Budget. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

The chairman Nasarawa state house of Assembly committee on finance and Appropriation, Hon. Aliyu Dogara Muhammad has said that members of his committee have sacrificed weekend ( Saturdays and Sundays) to ensure the early passage of 2022 budget sent to the house by the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule on Thursday last week.

Hon. Dogara who made the disclosure on Sunday when he and members of his committee were seen at the state Assembly complex , Shendam road Lafia executing some committee work .

The state lawmaker who represents Wamba local government Council as a constituency further explained that his committee and other committee of the house are doing the best they can to ensure that the 2/22 budget is passed before the end of the year.

Hon. Dogara further explained that the deck to ensure the early passage of the budget would enable the state not only to execute projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people, but also to ensure that the state access other benefits from the world Bank and other sister organisations that can assist the state to develop like its other counterparts in the country.

He therefore called for support and cooperation of all asundry to enable them pass the 2022 budget before the end of the year.

It would be recalled that Governor Abdullahi Sule on Thursday 9th December,2021 presented a budget of #109.8 billion to the state house of Assembly as the next year’s Appropriation.
