The chairman Nasarawa state house of Assembly committee on finance and Appropriation, Hon.Aliyu Dogara Muhammad has said that he and members of his committee have sacrificed weekend ( Saturdays and Sundays) to ensure the early passage of 2022 budget.
Hon Aliyu Dogara Muhammad who made the discharge on Sunday when he and members of his committee were seen at the Assembly complex on Sunday participating in the 2022 budget proposal.also said the decision was informed by the fact that they want to ensure ensure the early passage of the budget.
The state lawmaker who represents Wamba local government Area as his constituency in the state Assembly further explained the benefits of the early passage of the budget which includes not only ensuring that the governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule executes projects that have direct bearings on the lives of the people, but also to ensure access on world Bank projects that would improve the living standard of the people.
Hon. Dogara used the opportunity to appeal to all asundry to join hands with the committee to ensure that the 2022 budget is passed before the end of the year.
It would be recalled that on Thursday,9th December,2021, Governor And Sule presented the 2022 Appropriation bill of #109.8 billion to the state house of Assembly.
