Deputy Gov Akabe Holds Memorial Service In Honour Of His Father, James. By Abdullahi Shuaibu, Lafia.

Nasarawa State deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe has held a memorial church service in honour of hid late father Mr James Akabe who.died ten years ago.

The ten years anniversary church service which was held at St. Aloysious Catholic church Doma had in attendance the state APC chairman,Dr John. D.W. Mamman, state Head of civil service, Mr Nicholas Aboki, Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Henry John Omaku, A PC party stalwarts including Turakin Keana, Prince Mark Elayo amongst others.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the church service, state deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe who eulogised his late father,Mr James Akabe also prayed God to grant him eternal rest.

Dr Akabe who used the occasion to thank all those who graced the occasion also said he would continue to remember his late father who was not only caring, but also God-fearing.

While thanking God for the life well spent by his late father, he also pledged to continue with the good attitude of his late father.

It would be recalled that the late pa Akabe, late father of the state deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe died in 2011 after a protracted illness. He left behind children and grandchildren . Amongst his children is the state deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe.
