Nasarawa state house of Assembly has urged Governor Abdullahi Sule to assist and relocate flood victims across the state to enable them have a sense of belongings.
Speaker, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who gave the directive Monday during planery also urged the government assist the victims of the flood which cut across the state.
The speaker also appealed to the spirited individuals to come to the aid of the victims as according to him,” government cannot do it alone.”
Earlier, house majority leader, Umar Tanko Tunga during a matter of public interest called on his colleagues to assist him in appealing to the governor to relocate and assist the victims of flood across the state.
Tunga further explained that the people of the state most especially those living in riverine across are currently facing flood disaster hence the need for government to come to their aid to enable them have a sense of belongings.
It would be recalled that last week lives and property worth millions of naira were destroyed following flood désastres across the state where Many people were rendered homeless.
